{"id":17625,"date":"2025-05-30T23:12:12","date_gmt":"2025-05-30T21:12:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kulturnifront.hr\/?p=17625"},"modified":"2025-05-30T23:12:12","modified_gmt":"2025-05-30T21:12:12","slug":"kvarner-after-dark-storytelling-ture-u-lipnju-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kulturnifront.hr\/en\/kvarner-after-dark\/kvarner-after-dark-storytelling-ture-u-lipnju-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Kvarner After Dark - storytelling tours June 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The cycle is dominated by walks lead by a group of costumed performers who, in cooperation with the business <a href=\"http:\/\/terra-incognita.hr\/\">Terra Incognita<\/a>, held from spring to autumn in the Kvarner area.<\/p>\n<p>This summer too, we are expecting a variety of tours, two of which will take place in June: <strong><i>Lovran: smugglers and pirates<\/i><\/strong> which will take place <strong>3 June<\/strong> and <strong><i>Veprinac Ghost Tour <\/i><\/strong>which will take place <strong>13 June<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i>Storytelling<\/i> (advent)tour <em>\u2018Lovran: smugglers and pirates\u2019<\/em> is a hybrid form of an event in which elements of a guided tour, a team search for treasure and a role-playing experience intertwine. Moving along the labyrinth of cobbled streets, teams engage in lively interaction with Lovran merchants and try their hand at various skills such as deciphering the Glagolitic script, tying sailor knots, \u201ccultivating\u201d chestnuts, orientation around the medieval city centre, etc., all while avoiding the vigilant eye of Venetian spies and immersing themselves in authentic life stories from Lovran's ancient times. The adventure is intended for all ages and is open to friends, colleagues, parents with children, young and old \u2013 all lovers of Lovran, heritage, history, pirates and good games. Registration is mandatory via <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScTzqxQeCDCx1ZIEKkYGydndfVgcySfZBjWqE4BvxUuAKhI2Q\/viewform\">the Google Form<\/a>, and for news about the event, you can also follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/3079287682228291\">Facebook event<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand,<i> Veprinac Ghost Tour<\/i> uses elements of folklore fiction, intertwines them with historical records and builds an exciting story that the audience immerses in as a tense thriller. It is a hybrid form between a tourist tour and a play in which the viewers actively participate. A licensed tourist guide and heritage interpreter in the role of the Veprinac Countess Ana Waalsa takes visitors to the sleepy streets of the old town, and actors, distributed by points, embody supernatural beings and in interaction with the audience revive the past time in which they magically intertwine with the real.
