This Sunday, the Association for the Development of Youth Culture "Cultural Front" is organizing a playroom of modern social games at Maršala Tita 42, Opatija.
The playroom is held as part of the "Creative mess" project, which the association launches with the aim of providing new content for Opatija's youth.

It will be offered Forty games various mechanics and durations, which will be presented to visitors by the association’s young volunteers, and everyone – from beginners to experienced players in search of new games – is invited. Under the guidance of young volunteers of the association Kulturni front, guests will play those simple and dynamic “party” games as they are popular Jungle Speed, Ligretto and Pictionary, Families such as Settlers, Carcassonne and Village, up to hours of strategic like Scytha, Eldritch horror and many others.

In short, as in Monopoly and Risk, these games are played mainly by 3-6 players. In some of them, players cooperatively fulfill their mission, and in others, they compete against each other. What everyone has in common is that they encourage creative and strategic thinking and improve communication and interpersonal relations. Participation in the playroom is free, and there will be Open from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.. The games on offer are intended for adults, young people and children over 10 years of age.

After the organization of creative workshops and lectures by young experts in the newly renovated space, the association that is best known to the public for the organization of the Fantasy Festival “Liburnicon” and “Opatija Coffeehouse Debates”, begins the regular promotion of the culture of social games through playrooms for the public in the hope that they will soon become the subject of many family and friendly gatherings.
