Projekt popularizacije znanosti i demokratske deliberativne kulture Opatija Coffeehouse Debates započinje s novim zanimljivim predavanjima i drugim događanjima u ovoj godini.
Program popularizacije znanosti i deliberativne građanske kulture Opatija Coffeehouse Debates nastavlja s organizacijom zanimljivih predavanja, panel-diskusija i prezentacija ovog petka, 7. studenog.
U Kamin sali Hotela Continental u Opatiji (Maršala Tita 83) 28. listopada 2025. od 19:00 do 20:30 održat će se javno predavanje filozofkinje Silvije Carpioglio Panizze s University of Pardubice – Centre for Ethics, pod naslovom “If being good is not a choice”.
Jubilarno 20. izdanje jednog od najpoznatijih festivala znanstvene fantastike, fantastike i popularne kulture u regiji – Liburnicon – održat će se 15. i 16. kolovoza 2025. na Fakultetu za menadžment u turizmu i ugostiteljstvu u Iki pokraj Opatije. Ove godine festival donosi atraktivnu temu „Zmajevi“, uz bogat i raznolik program za sve uzraste.

Opatija – Betty Stojnić, PhD student from the University of Nagoya (Japan) and the University of Warwick (UK) will hold an interesting lecture “Technical Orientalism: Exotic visions of the future in popular culture and media’.
