The project of popularization of science and promotion of deliberative democratic culture Opatija Coffeehouse Debates continues with new and interesting activities in May.
Another interesting presentation within the project "Lectures of Young Scientists", and within the project Opatija Coffeehouse Debates, awaits us on Tuesday, May 6, starting at 7 p.m. at the premises of the Association "Cultural Front" (M. Tita 42, Opatija).
On Sunday, April 27, 2025, the first meeting of the reading club of the Association Cultural Front was held in its premises at M. Tita 42, Opatija. The gathering took place in a friendly and inspiring atmosphere, and all interested book lovers participated.
Opatija – Betty Stojnić, PhD student from the University of Nagoya (Japan) and the University of Warwick (UK) will hold an interesting lecture “Technical Orientalism: Exotic visions of the future in popular culture and media’.
The project of popularization of science and promotion of deliberative democratic culture Coffeehouse Debates continues with interesting events, this time as part of the project direction “Cultural Forum”.
With spring begins a new series of interesting lectures, presentations and panel discussions as part of the Coffeehouse Debates project. This Friday, 25 April at 7 p.m., at the premises of the Cultural Front Association (M. Tita 42, Opatija), PhD student Ema Luna Lalić will hold an interesting presentation entitled “Speech acts: Convention and Intention’.
We invite you to the workshop of making dragon eggs. Join us in an adventure where, with imagination and creativity, we will make our own dragon eggs inspired by fantastic worlds.
The Association Cultural Front invites all lovers of literature to the upcoming meeting of the newly founded literary club, which will be held on April 27, 2025 at 5 pm in the premises of the association itself at Maršala Tita 42, Opatija.
On Tuesday, April 15, a solemn Reporting Assembly of the Association was held, attended by numerous members of the Association and solemn guests.
