Last Friday, November 10th, the first pilot creative workshop for young people was held in our Association, where participants made their own dream catchers, learned something about themselves and had a great time!
At the workshop there was a diverse team, just like the colorful ones and their wonderful dreamcatchers, who each tell a story about their creator for themselves.
The collective creative workshop table was full, full, full, and the workshop was literally looking for a place more.
Participation in the workshop did not require any previous experience, talent, skills, dexterity or knowledge of the participants; workshop leaders explained in detail to the workshop participants how to knit their own dream catcher and they all turned out beautiful and special.
Participants of the workshop also got acquainted with the legends of North American Indians who first and began to knit dream catchers. They also received the so-called "adult coloring book" in the form of a dream catcher in order to symbolically "capture" all the negativity from their daily lives and at the same time raise awareness of the motivating, positive and supporting qualities, activities, facts, events, persons, etc. that are present in their daily lives.
Here are some of the impressions of our participants from the workshop:
“I am delighted! Very nice, positive energy, calmness, spirituality, good people and I am very happy that I learned to do my dreamcatchers.”
“It's great! Very relaxing, I can't wait for the next one!’
“Super workshop, good vibe and music. I am glad that something like this is happening and in my opinion this workshop is as creative as a workshop of personal development. All 5, just keep going!’
“A great idea, I am glad to have participated and I am definitely following for future workshops (which I hope there will be).”
